I looked throught the helms manual and i couldn't find out what part this is.
-Its on the passanger side right next to the center console where your feet are and its right under the glove box. Its a small black box with a green connector and a black rubber sleeve over the wire. Does anyone one what part this is?

-also in a 3.0cl is the ecu by door speaker, passanger side.
-behind the plasitc piece?

the ecu should be right below the feet of the passenger side. Pull back the carpet and there should be a sheet of metal, behind that is the ecu

 

so what is the other thing on the top left side with the green connector

 

disconnect it and see what happens.

 

It's a connector to the transmission to do diagnostics

 

it shouldnt be.. the 97 3.0 is the only year with a seperate transmission computer. how big is it.. can u take a pic of it.

 

Is it part of the climate control? Also... according to Acura Carland... there is an AT control unit on the '98 3.0. Oh well... just looking cause now I am curious.

 

OK, that failed, but if you select the cl 98 prem 3.0 with KAAT4... And select the cabin control unit... it shows an AT control unit at the bottom of the list of parts.
