What Octane?
I know this thread will start a nice conversation. I have a 2.2L CL, anyone have a reccomendation of what octane fuel I should be using. No MODs as of yet, but I plan on installing my CAI next week.

I have had my CL for a little more than a year now, and ran NOTHING but 93. Last fill up, i threw in the 87, after reading the thread from last week. I can't notice any difference of performance, the only difference i could measure was the ease of hard starting. When i am below 1/8 a tank, the 87 seems like my engine isnt going to turn over, the 93 usually only stalls a tad. So, my decision, run 87, but dont let the needle go past 1/4 tank

Opps... I should have maybe done a search first to see about this. I hope that my re-hashing of it didnt piss anyone off. I'm still a newbie here.

I usually run 87. Once or twice a month i would run 93 just clean out the engine. But ever since gas went through the roof out here in LA i wont touch anything higher then 87. Not till prices come back down.
