yeah, theres pics in my sig, but why don't sigs show up anymore unless you start the topic?? check my home page. It doesn't even come close to fitting, but it does match up perfect with the front lip. I had to cut the bitch in half and then chop like 5 inches off. It's a pain in the ass. The one in that pick looks better than mine, (around the exhaust) because mine looks like this (o) his is like rounded on top and the sides. not just the sides like mine. Mine is actually in 2 pieces.

Ummmm, just a note for future reference, don't get the lip iuf you aren't prepared to spend a lot of money/time getting it to fit. It is NOT an exact fit, and lemmie tell ya, i DEFINITELY regret getting my rear kit.
BTW, without side skirts it looks horrible, and getting some kind skirts too look good with the WW front lip is also somewhat difficult. Be happy with what you have.
You have been warned d: )

Yeah, our cars look prety nice with just the ww front lip. sometimes i wish i would have just dropped itm got wheels, and then spent the rest of my money on the motor swap. But just like everyone else i've wasted a few G'$ on BS.

Hell yeah, you will love it once you have the H22 in. Shit, it took longer for my F22 to come out than putting in the H22. The H22 slid right in, in like ten minutes. That carbon fiber hood is a score too. It look nice in the pictures.

yeah, i want to do the swap myself, with the help of some friends, but I don't know that i'll ever have enough time between college, golf, and my new job i'm so busy.
i'll probably just have it done, since it can be done in 2 days that way. It would probably take my friends and I at least a week.
did you do the swap yourself? how long did it take you?

Me and two of my friends did it in one weekend. H22 swaps in Accord's and CL's are the easyest swaps to do. There is an article in the new Sport Compact mag. on an H22 swap in a 94-97 Accord. Check it out.

yeah, i've heard it's pretty basic. all you have to swap is the motor and ecu. Did you keep the f-tranny?
the ecu conversion is what sounds scary. OBD2 to OBD1. That sounds tough, but who knows. Did you do that part yourself? Or did you get a 97+motor that has obd2 already?
I was gonna do a 98+ then it would be legal here in cali, but everyone says the obd1 h22's as well as gs-r's are a few tenths quicker.

Big Block DOHC Type-R
Well, my motor is a little bit different than the rest of the H22 family. 98-02 Type-S, Type-R, and the F20B DOHC Accord sir-T(blue valve cover) all run a single butterfly manifold. I dont need to run a GSR P72 or P13 ecu. Those ecu's are for duel butterfly setups on normal H22 manifolds. I'm running a P28(92-95 Civic, Del Sol) ecu in my car. P28's are bomb ecu's. They have the best Vtec maping and have the most programability. As for the f-tranny, hell no. My motor came w/ the best tranny you can get for an H22. Not only is it LSD, but it has 17% shorter gear ratios than any H22. Most type-S Preludes come w/LSD, but not w/the short gear ratios. Thats part of the reason why I bought it. You might want to keep that F-tranny around if you plan on boost. I've heard from numerouse sources that it's longer gears work better.

sounds pretty sweet! i knew you had the different h22 motor, and i remember you talking about the tranny before now, in some thread where someone was flaming you for buying that expensive motor. they were probably just jealous. i am dammat! i seroiusly just can't wait!

Big Block DOHC Type-R
Believe me, this tranny makes a huge difference in how this motor gets up to speed. I keep up w/of shit that I shouldnt with that tranny. I think $4300 is a steal for what I got. Say you get an OBD1 0r OBD2 H22 for $2200 and you want to set it up type-R. Pistons and rods can cost you $4-500 bucks. The type-R cams cost around $4-500 bucks. The single butterfly manifold $150-200. How about that larger throttlebody, good $350-450 bucks. What about that type-R lightened flywheel, fuck, I dont know maybey $2-300. Oh, you want a type-R head? If you can find it, it's got to be at least a G. Throw in the LSD for the tranny, thats a few bills. The gear ratios come in the type-R only, so you can park any thought of hooking that up. It's a truly unique motor for a truly unique car.
