i filled my car up. its a 2.2 I4 and drove it regular. some flooring it here and there and i got 215 miles out of 3/4 tank of gas. what u guys get? this is not highway driving this is around town and some highway not much. well the stick was at 1/4 full mark u know what i mean. thanx

What's wrong w/ ur CL's? I get like 420 on a full tank... at least 400. 450 is best.

I got a 3.0 and I get about 300 miles per tank. If I drive a lot on the highway like to Houston or something then I get about 375 to 400. I use the cruise control.

I always get 300 miles to a tank using 93 octane and driving moderately fast. I don't believe that the gas tank is 17.2 gallons though. I have never gotten that much in.

It all depends on if you have a clean intake filter, engine size, where your rpms are when you or your car shifts gears. I have a 3.0 and I hit VTEC 85% of the time so that lowers my mpg a lot. I know I shouldn't but its so much fun. You will get you best fuel mileage if you get the car to shift between 3000 and 3500 rpms.

yo cltyper how do u get that much. on the highway yeah i can easily do over 200 miles on 1/2 a tank cuz colled is 100miles each way and im just over the 1/2 way mark. i dont understand how u get that much under normal driving around town. i gto only 215 on 3/4 tank of gas usin 93 octane gas. thats with hittin vtec alot cuz i need all the power i can get.

I use regular octane gas and I got 26 MPG around town driving fast and regular. I got 310+ miles till the light came on. This weekend I went on a trip and used Cruise the whole time driving about 70 and used the AC the whole time back and I got 32 MPG. I have not put the intake on just yet (everytime I get started I get interrupted!) Now that I have this info I'm going to test it out once I get the intake on.
I'm not always in VTEC though. I'm sure I will be when I get the intake

yeah so 470km = about 294 miles. thats exactly about what i get for a full tank under normal driving not highway. with the gas prices going up and up i wanted to make sure im gettin good mileage. im gonna go buy a jocobs I.C.E. pack ignition. hopefully i can get another 50+ miles out of my tank.

I drove just from FL to NJ on 2 tanks. It is just under 1000 miles.

I usually fill up around 250 miles which is with around a 1/4 tank left. I'm getting about 24-26 mpg which is about right b/c I do about 90% highway driving.....
