- Wrong car <--- this is a funny one because the cop was after a different guy in a RX-7, but I pulled over to the side... he drove up to my window (motocycle cop) and yelled "Not you!"

 

got pulled over twice for no front plate, once for goin 80 in a 40 and the next time i got pulled over i was doin 145 but the cop was like i didnt clock you but slow down.

 

I got pulled over for having a nice car (my '94 Mustang GT), lol no joke. The cop was a Ford guy and wanted to check out my Stang, so he pulled me over with the lights and sirens blaring. He even told me where the best places to speed/race were, LOL! Other than that, I've gotten pulled over for speeding, having dark tints, or having no front plate but I've been let go everytime since I seem to always get pulled over by cops that are either into muscle cars or Fords. I guess I'm lucky, especially since I've never gotten a single ticket to this day and I've had the Stang since I was 16. But I've never gotten pulled over while driving the CL.

I've only gotten a ticket for "failing to stop at a red light". I swear I actually went on yellow. I'm guilty of speeding always, but I never run reds.

Good thing there was no cops around when I was going 105 in a 30 lol I wasn't endangering anyone else though because it was like between 12AM-1AM.

All of those are off my license now, which is nice. I went from like 11 points to 0 in just over a year. My insurance is a third of what it was, but I haven't had my CL on the road for that time. I'm sure I'll start racking them up again towards the end of the summer when she's back on the road :p

Haha - Sad thing was I totalled the car only going about 15MPH. The roads were wet, and I had track tires on my car at the time. I'll admit I was following too close to the guy, but I didn't expect him to lock up his brakes in the middle of the street for no reason (I think he did it since I was tailing him and trying to get him to speed up, but I didn't have a way to prove it.) He got off easy with just a broken muffler mount - I did over $3000 worth of damage to my CL. Definitely one of the worst days of my life...

I got pulled for a 39 in a 25, 54 in 35 (shoulda been a ticket) and wreckless. No tickets except 3 parking violations. It helps that I know most of the cops in the area from my job, but you gotta know how to talk to them and PRAY.
My bel 6x55 suprisingly saved me from a 80 in a 55 when I got hit with a laser last week and broke it down to about 65 by the time the cop saw me. I thought once you got lasered your caught unless you have a jammer.

1. Passing in a school zone ($240 ticket..az cops dont tollerate school zones)
2. Pulled over at 1:30 in the morning for suspicion, because there was a party reported in the area..dumbass cop
3. Wasn't pulled over but I had my system pounding in a McDonalds parking lot then a huge search light blinded me and he yelled at me "TURN IT DOWN!"..

 

the one and only time i had been pulled over was for my tints
or at least thats what the cop told me, it really was because my friends and i were looking at some graff on the side of a warehouse at about 10pm, so she pulled me over for suspicion and gave me a ticket because tints were the only thing she could remotely get me for..and to make it better was that my tints were legal. the case was dropped and i didnt have to pay a cent

 

at least u get to have tints in FL!

"yellow headlights", modified exhaust, exhaust too loud, angel eyes (on bottom grill), vehicle too low, licence plate too low (not 23 inches above the ground), having a "H" instead of A on trunk. almost sent to state for "illegal breathers" on motor and intake. cai not carb legal. i dunno tons of things. everyday they find something new!

 

No, it wasn't a residential. It was a clear road where I could easily see ahead for quite a distance. Really this road should have a speed limit of 55mph or so.

HA that sucks. I live in Austin, Texas, and Ive been pulled over for tags, and speeding twice.. got to go pay off my last one in a few days. 100 in a 65.. damn night time speed limit. As of "fix it stuff" we dont get them to much. I see people running around with out bumpers... none the less front plates

 

had a few, dont care to recall them all but here was the most interesting one... 4 way race, on 2 lane road me and another guy were given the parking lane to race on. so... outcome 95+ in a 25, i got second place with my infiniti J30. everyone tried to get away, n got caught. i pulled over immediately and was given a warning n told to wear a seatbelt lol. (p.s. i WAS wearing a seat belt, took it off though.... 2 AM, we closed road down to be safe)

Yeah, in some states. I think it is usually a secondary offense though, meaning that you won't get pulled over just for being on the phone.

I have seen a lot of people do some really stupid shit on their cell phones...The sad part is they don't even realize what they did usually, and I just stare at them after slamming on my brakes or something. I need to just slam into some of these people some day.

I mean I use my cell phone when I'm driving, but not to discuss business, and make appointments and shit. Its usually like, "Hey where you at?" Click. I usually use speaker phone or the headset on the road too.

About a year ago I was driving my old grey Civic (1991), I had just finish having dinner with some friends and I was on my way home. About 3 miles up the road I saw a car pulled over with two Montgomery County Police. about 2 miles from there I get pulled over by the cop. He comes to my window and asks me for license, registration, and proof of Insurance. So I give it to him and he tells me that he pulled me over because my tail light was out. So I said okay and he goes back to his car. He comes back and he says, "Ma'am can you please step out of the vehicle." I said "okay". He then said, "How many time have you smoked marijuana in your car" I said to him, "I don't smoke pot I don't know what you are talkin about." Then he was like, "there is marijuana residue all over your car" (keep in mind that it was 10:30 @ night) Then he was like, "Can i search your vehicle" Since I didn't have anything to hide I told him, "Knock yourself out". This ASSHOLE went thru my purse, tax returns, my pay stubs, and was with his legs up in the air searching the car. After he is done searching (and finds nothing) he picks up the dust/pollen from my dashboard and says "this is marijuana residue.... You see.... (and shakes it off his fingers)" Then he gives me my license, registration, and Insurance card and tells me to go vaccum my car. He didn't give me anything! not even a work order for the "broken tail light" So I get to the nearest gas station and I look at all my lights and they were working correctly nothing was broken. I am pretty sure I was racially profiled. He probably thought since I was hispanic that I didn't have insurance!!! LOL I hate Montgomery County Police!!!!!
