For those of you who have swaped your f22 for an h22, I was wondering what ECU are you running with your motor. Since I converted over from a Auto to a manual, the P13 ecu my h22a came with would not work so I purchased a P72 ECU from a 96 GSR (OBD2) and the car started right up, only problem is the ABS light is on. Did anyone have this problem or something similar, and how did you fix it?

On the flip side, I was reading an article off one of these sites and this dude broke down the difference in ECU's. The P72 ecu was designed for a B18 so the fuel/air may be a little off, but they say it's the best ecu to run. I am trying to find the best ecu to run with my h22 setup and it looks like i might have to send it off to hondata.

 

the reason ur abs light is on is bcuz ur axles i drive around with mines on also becuz the axles i have doesnt have abs sensors.....i am also running a p20 chipped which is usually used for gissers

funny....my abs light was on for about a month after the swap and then suddeny went off while driving one day.

 

p13 chipped to JUN specs, vtec is kinda far at 5800rpm, but when it hits the road better be dry.

Guy's, I got a madman p13 program. 5000 vtec 9000rpm rev. Real good program. $50, and I can socket ecu's also. I use the gold plated sockets too. Professional work with a bomb program. Let me know.

Who the hell is gonna buy a eprom chip from you for $50? If people spent $50 on eproms then I would be rich!

Cause...Every chip just about runs 5000 vtec and 9000 rpm. These eproms suck for your car and runs it like shit. I have ran every program in my car and the only chip worth the while is hondata.

ALSO, these chips don't sell for more then $20. For a fellow board member, he shouldn't be tryin to rip ya'll off.

i am not sure if im using the f22 ecu or the h22 ecu. ill find out when i get my car back.

 

car will be out of the shop sunday, had a lil fender bender.

 

i was using the p13...in my honest opinion the p13 is the best ecu for the h22...the p72 is good but it does cause the motor to run a little lean (NOT A GOOD THING)
i am no longer using a honda ecu...i can set my vtec where ever i want to and i can set my rev limit where ever i want it....wouldnt really do that thought dont want to f%^k up the head or float the valves or some crazy shit

did you give them or get the P13 with your engine, if you gave them the p13 with the swap they better use it, also ask for your f22 ecu back also.
