what does a 2.3 dyno whith basic bolt-ons?

Has anyone dynoed their 2.3's whith basic bolt-ons, if you did can you please post the brand of your bolt-on and what you dyno?

My 2.2 got 143hp/140tq with the following (the 2.3 would be slightly higher ~ 150):

AEM Cold Air Intake, Underdrive Pulleys, Cam Gear, and Fuel Pressure Regulator

Bosal/Brospeed Header, Catback Exhaust

Type X Racing Cat

Accel 300 + Ignition

Crane Cams Distributor Cap

Magnecor 8MM Wires

hold ups... your sig says 253hp, you said 143..?? which is right??

i got to drive a stock 2.3CL 5spd the other week, and was pretty impressed. i like these cars

That was with bolt ons prior to the turbo.

i dyno'ed 128hp/126.8 tq with the following

AEM pullies
AEM cold air intake
cam gear @ 3degrees retard
9.3 mm wires/ copper NGK plugs
focuz 4-2-1 header
custom 2.5" greddy exhaust


Auto tranny

that was a year ago....i have the UR pulley , a stock rear exhaust section , and different ignition wires now.

thanks guys, Ill shoot for the 143hp. I was trying to see what brand of mods got the most gains.

i will cry if after i get a cam gear and go to the dyno for some tuning if i dont get over 130. ill find out over the summer. should do an aem cai vs the aem v2 while im at it

VXCL, where are you dynoing? I've been going to BM Tranny in Bound Brook because they're got an AWD dyno.

All that stuff only gets you 143whp!!! Damn, that makes me appreciate my 3.0 that much more.
