I am selling my 97 2.2CL. It is in mint condition inside and out. The exterior only has a couple scatches on the bumber. It has been pampered and has 72,000 miles on it. It comes with 17" Enkei Zenkei rims with brand new Khumo tires. It is lowered with Eibach springs. It has an Apex V-AFC, DC Sports headers, AEM CAI, and HKS exhaust. It has a custom stereo with 12" JL W6 subs. It is finished off with a Kenwood touch screen 6" viewable telivision. It is an awesome car. My question is, what do you think I should ask for it?

There was a guy that use to post here who had a 01 CL with all comptech parts, full stereo, tv, nav, and 18" SSR GPO Decolte rims. It was the Cl that was featured in the Annapolis mall. He is a good friend of mine. He ended up selling the car, and my Mom bought it. She liked everything on the car but the rims. She was going to give them to me but I have a 97 CL that already has rims and I am selling the car anyways. The rims are in mint condition. They have Pilot Sport tires and only have about 1,500 miles on them. They cost $3,700 and I am selling them for $2,500 b/o The rims are currently on display at Import Sports if anyone wants to see them. Also I can post pictures if anyone wants. Thanks.

 

So if your 97 didnt have rims you would have had the 18s? Hope they are dual pattern

 

if you are selling parts, i am interested in the headers and exhaust.

And i would guess that you could get 13k for it assuming its automatic+leather, maybe more if you found the right buyer. Even though the value on your aftermarket stuff is several thosand it doesnt increase the value much at all.

 

My friend owns a shop and he can do conversions from 4 to 5 lug patterns.

If I were you I would strip all of the aftermarket parts off and sell them somewhere. The aftermarket parts will pretty much only decrease the value becasue its going to look like the car has been run. If not I think the only way your going to get anything decent for it is if you sell it to younger kid. Good luck.
