What to do about the acura

It has been a while since i have posted on the board but I am ready to get a new car.

I am getting an 07 G35 but my problem is that the dealer wants to give me next to nothing for my CL. The blame it on the high miles but I think they are just trying to get the most out of me.

I have a 97 Black / Black 3.0 with 148k miles outside condition is okay.. the inside is near perfect. The only want to give me $1000 for the car. I don't understand... what would you do in this situation? Another problem is that I don't really have the time to sell the car myself either...

where in PA are you located?

I would sell it myself....you can get a lot more then $1000 but you have to put a little time in it....decide what YOU want for it and put it on some online websites and the paper and be patient...it will sell

If your getting a 07 G35, what does it really matter how much they are gonna give you. Apparently, money is not really an object. But if you want more than 1k, sell it yourself. You could probably get around 5k-6k

JORTS - I live in Pottstown Pa, a suburb of Philadelphia. Has anyone sold their car on craigslist or a newspaper? What is the cost to run an ad?

Money does actually matter to me.. I just work many of hours to get the toys I want.. Thats why it bothers me to see the CL for such a little amount.

BTW, what are you opinions on the g35?

yea that 07 G35 is pretty hot.

Just sell the CL yourself for a pretty 5-6k. You should know that dealers always rape on trade-ins.

Yea talking about rape... I am getting $32,000 for my 04 vette with 31k miles

I have two weeks I guess auto trader should be an easy place to sell my car. I sold my old car on ebay and thats why i am a little hesitant to sell the car myself

Oh and the biggest part of why i may "give up" the vette.. Its now winter and if i give up the vette for 32k then thats $1920 that i will save in sales tax (6%)

well, the vette numbers are more or less the same. you can probably sell it for 33k privately without any problems..

as for the CL, 5k is not outside the realm of possibility.

if you live up north, just keep the CL and drive it on the terrible snow days. Keeps the new car fresh and away from the harsh salt on the road.
