I heard the infinity kappa 3-way's fit fine. But like I said. That's just what I heard.

I have a pair of Focal 165k2 with a shitload of power going to them and they sound awsome. Only drawback is that they pick up every imperfection in the recording. HIGHLY recommended.

the majority of high end 6 1/2s arent gunna fit without some modification to the speaker bezel ... nothing major any shop should do it with the norm install cost my boston pro series needed to be spaced about 2 inches

also very highly recogmended

my kenwood excelon 6/9's are 3 ways and sound perfect. They even fit without modification. (barely) You can only fit 3 of the 4 screws back in, but it works.

you can still use 6 1/2 in front... but you need to mod that bracket they were in...
what you do is... keep the frame but cut out middle of it and they should fit fine.
i had 6 1/2 on mine. Inf. Reference.

I'm with gdubb on this one. Focal Polykevlar series components are the shit. They are very clear and play hard.

I tried making a wood spacer for the perfects but they still woulnt fit. Did you leave on the stock mounting bracket? or did you cut the middle out and mount with that?

A shop installed mine that ive been using for 10 years. he actually moved my window track so I didnt use a spacer of any kind. And again the sound awsome, dont get the utopia. These are mainly used for kicks and its hard to get these to sound as good as the polykevlar does when its in the factory space. We put my tweeter in the stock location on the dash out of phase, sounds good. I used to compete in SQ so im kinda know what to listen for

I have the Polykevlar FOCALS 6.5"
That is the only FOCAL other than the Eutopias that I recomend (IMO).... The pair with tweets is about $600.00 here in NY (dont know, dont care about elsewhere!)...

My speakers bolted right in... all I had to have done was remove a plastic ousing from the door.. NO moving window tracks, NO custom pieces....

Mine are te polyglass line. I had to cut out the plastic behind the speaker to get them to fit. The Door panel and grill barely fit over the speaker.

(onlinecarstereo.com) the k's are 3 3/8" magnet while the kp's are 3 1/3. im wondering if they will fit, casper said the k's fit by removing the plastic, and making new holes. will the few cm's screw me up?
