What is this?

I was taking off a few things from my dash and making room for my vtec controller and I found this thing behind the ash tray. what is it? does anyone know?[IMG]

It's to connect the OBD II. All cars have it either behind the ashtray or underneath the steering wheel. It's to detect any electrical problems that the car is having. A bunch of codes shows up if there is.

Those are underneath the console itself, the plug he's talking about is right behind the ash tray and it is the OBDII interface.

found it and pretty much broke my ashtray when i put it back in. lol
