Whalentire.com?
Just wondering how many of you had bought from them? I'm gonna order my tires from them tonight, and I wanted to know how quick they ship out their stuff? I'm ordering my rims from a different place, and I wanted to make sure they both come in at about the same time. Anybody got any input? Thanks....

I have ordered 3 set of rims/tires from them. Excellent customer service and they send stuff out same day if ordered before 1 PM. (Their time)
Only thing bad I heard is that they can't seem to balance rims good. I haven't had a problem though.

I ordered my rims and tires from them, and I'm very satisfied.
As for the shipping time, it depends where you live. They ship via UPS ground, and therefore it's up to UPS as to how long it will take. Mine took 5 business days (as promised) which equated to 1 calander week (no shipment on Sat/Sun).
Look on whalentire.com's shipping page. It should show you a map and tell you how long shipment will take.

i ordered mine from there, they gave the best service out of anybody i have ordered from yet. by the way, if you guys are looking to get HID's from ebay, dont get them from a company named "OptionMotor". The company is really slow to get back to you, and my HID was broken. But anyways, Whalen Tire is a great place to go.

Yup....WhalenTire.com seems like a top-notch place. Placed my order this morning, and they shipped it out this afternoon. I should be getting them either Wednesday or Thursday. Ordered my rims today too, and those will be in by Tuesday!! So next week my rims will be on!!! Can't wait....and of course...I'll be posting pics!!

Why would you get 215/45/17? Stock is 215/45/17 and if you're getting 45, get a 225/45/17 at least.

Stock rims and tires on the First Gen are P205/55VR16 Michelins on 16" X 6" rims.
I have 18" x 7.5" with 225 tires, and the tires come out to the very edge of the rims. Unless your rims are 7.5" wide, I'd stick with the 215s.
