well i was warned it might happen
my alternator finally gave up after 192000 miles
it also left me stranded about 100 miles from home and in a little ass town. i asked the local mechanic if he had one and he asked if acura was owned and built by toyota... i bought the part and had my cousin bring some tools out to me and i fixed her in the lot

Why do you guys think he used a Toyota alt?
I understood it as him asking a local redneck shop and the guy being clueless so he had his buddy bring him the correct one and parking lot fix it.

I wouldn't let him LOOK at my car after that, I feel like the only one that's gonna go all out and do shit right to my car is me. Only in extreme circumstances will I let a dealer or somebody I don't know touch my ride.......

besides the SS models, ive heard nothing but bad things about the cobalt. my grandpa drove one while his van was getting fixed, he hated it. my dad drove one from miami-NJ and hated it. tell your wife's coworker she's an idiot.
