That's gay. I hate asshole drivers but I don't think you should be tryin to smoke towncars, especially with how bad everybody says Jersey roads are. Maybe you should have let him pass and then flipped him off, and maybe he would have hit the pothole first instead of you. Sorry to hear about the rim though.

*update* went out for a smoke break and took a look at the rim and it looks like only the lip is like folded down a bit, went for a ride around the corner and didn't feel a drastic difference,if its just the lip any suggestions besides the rubber mallot?should i use a rubber mallot to try to fix?

dont try the rubber mallot fix, it could result in a crack which will only make u more pissed. take it to a shop and they'll do it for maybe $100 (max).

i had a bent in the barrel of my c2's, i took it to the shop and they fixed it in 24hours for $100. i remeber he told me if it was the lip it would've been only $50 and it would've been fixed in a few hours.

Crack head you can't hammer it out with a rubber mallot. I'll get you a number to a place that fixes rims, it shouldn't be that much between 50-100. You will crack the rim and then end up buying a new one.

This boy never listens, he is like my 10 yr old in order for him to listen you gotta smack him around. You never listen..It doesn't look that bad but hopefully you didnt put too much stress on the bend when you were smacking it which may make it weak and crack when you begin driving.

Sorry bout the bend, get it to the shop ASAP and quit hitting it with the hammer you NOOB. J/K, but the shop will use a jig, and if you are lucky, they can fix the pollished lip without having to send it off for electroplating.

Good luck.

proper way of hammering out aluminum rims is
get yourself a torch
heat the sucker up the hammer it out

the shop on the other hand has a machine which fixed that

i'm just taking it to the shop, the diy way gave me a couple scratches, and the only tool i have to use to heat it up is a hairdryer, and spraycan/lighter
