when i drive i hear this ringing/clanking sound from under the car...it also sounds like 2 rings clanging each other...thats the best i can describe...
but it stops when i apply the brakes...
what can it be..?can it be the brakes...rotors perhaps..?
if anybody knows or had this problem...please help...thanks...

 

if its under the car...i would say its the inner CV joint/axle...

 

there may be some debris in your catalytic converter.

 

could be a loose exhaust hanger, or the heat shield on the cat
