Weird droning type of noise from rear?

wonder if someone might have an idea what to think of this, otherwise i'm bringing my car in to check out:

in the last week or so, I've begun noticing a type of droning noise emanating from the rear of the car while the car is in motion that becomes noticable at around 40km/hr (about 25miles/hr).

so far i've determined its not these:
  • brake (I apply at various speeds and the sound is still there)
  • exhaust (while varying speeds the sound is still present)
  • transmission (while coasting/accel./decel./neutral) the drone is still there...
  • window seals are tight
  • tires -- definitely not, since i am familar with the rolling sound

could it be wheel bearings? or some other thing that anyone can think of?

yep sounds like bad wheel bearings. If it gets louder under a hard left turn then it's the right bearing, and vice versa

how do you go through 4 bearings? Is this a mechanic installing them?

me and my friend did the last install. we did the ROH conversion. the other 3 times were done by mechanics since i dont know how to use a machine press.

im bought a new knuckle and im gonna buy another hub and bearing and get an alignment ASAP. if that doesnt solve the problem then i have no idea where to go next.

matt you def shouldn't be having such problems unless your spindle/axle is bent
