you can reduce weigth in our cars, but in the end it doesn't do much to an un/lightly modified f series engine. if you have say an h22 or turbeo, you might, might see a little improvement. but at that point it would just be for bragging rights to get a few more tenths of a second off your 1/4 slip

Also if you want to loose some weight and only want to turn the car into a drag car, take out the power steering and build up some arm strength to turn tha shit

i would take out the rear, seats, the speaker panel, the center console, the glove box, the trunk liner, spare, jack, and any and all stereo equipment

the airbag has to weigh a few pounds, and you could remove all the lightbulbs too !!!!

you arent going to notice this unless you are running some crazy most likely non-street legal setup

Go on a diet! :P

Seriously: I think everyone who responded, covered most things. You could get a carbon fiber hood.

Or you could drive with no hood at all, may as well remove the headrests as well.

You could get underneath and scrape off the undercoating. And don't forget to peel any stickers off of your car. While they add horsepower, they also add weight and wind resistance.

run on all spare tires, bust out the windows, unhook the exhaust manifold and drop all the exhaust, gut everything from the interior and sit on a 5 gallon bucket, remove the a/c and the power stearing pump, remove hood and trunk
