Hey everybody,
For everybody with stock rides, I'm wondering if everybody else runs into this. Whenever the weather is slightly windy, 25 mph, my car is all over the place. Then if its warm out, the car rides better over bumps, and when its colder out, the suspension stiffens, and its gets real bumpy, and has actually a worse ride than an accord does, which is often. I thought acura is supposed to be the luxury version of the honda's. Also, recently, whenever i go over bumps, I hear this squeak coming from the suspension. Anyone know what this could be. I've brought the car to the dealership on a number of times, and they tell me, that the suspension is fine. I'm getting so aggrevated with this car's ride and handling, I'm ready to get rid of it and go for something else. Does anybody have any suggestions.

 

Alot of times when the suspension is cold or has sat for a while it will squeak for a little bit. If you think there definatley is a problem with it take it to someone rather than the dealer and get it checked out. Stick with the acura, its a great car. Good luck.

 

I drove home from D.C. last night and my car was all over the road. I put on new tires the day before, but it was very windy out. Our cars are a little heaver than an Accord but not much. I think all cars act a little different when it is cold out compared to warm. You may need new shocks, struts or springs. I have new springs and stock shocks and it will squeak going slow over a speed bump thats all. Get a mechanic to take a ride in it and let him feel the ride and listen for squeaking. Good luck.
