weapon r

Does anybody here have a weapon-r? My friend wanted to know if it took a long time for the filter to dry after cleaning. Also any CL peeps have the ram air setup with that. I am looking at it and it looks interesting. Thanks

the foam filter takes a while to dry, but get rid of it and get a k&n filter.

Like an hour? or like 1 day? How long for a K&N one?

i had mine sitting on a vent register and over night(15 hours) it was still damp, but i put it on anyway.

the k&n was about an hour with washing, drying, oiling, and reoiling.

Cool, my friend has it, tough for him. The one thing I liked about the weapon r is the ram air kit. Anybody know if they make something like that for aem. My other option is AEM cold air or the new one, etc. Thanks Oh btw I probably won't do this install till like spring or something. Right now the temps being 50 is discouraging on modding projects.
