I sprayed it down that channel and it didn't seem to make any difference, my passenger window is worse.

WHERE DO I SPRAY?

I saw the photo from VXCL but I want to know where I stick the tube?, Between the weather stripping into the door panel cavity, or between the stripping where the window is?

Did it just get all over your window?

I have the exact same problem. I used teflon almost everywhere and it not improved the windows at all, in fact it may be Slower!

Is there someone out there who has had success and knows exactly what to use and where to spray?

I tried it. Used Silicon Lubricant (bought in Target) yellow botle.

It'd shown no improvement but it did not harm the windows in any way.

If you window is really starting to slow down the chances are that you will have to go dish out a ton of money to get the window motors replaced. I had to have mine replaced and a lot of other people with accords and CL's have had to have theirs replaced as well. Sorry

yeah it worked for me for like a day then i had to pull the window up with my hands and its been closed since. my shit is broken. im gettin a new motor tomm from acura. its under warrenty. also that wasn't my pic i just edited it and reposted.

Sorry your motors gone. My window got stuck half way down and then just started to fall all the way down. I had to pull it up as well and drive straight to the the dealership. Acura needs to fix these things, the accords have the same problem and so do the new CL's. Soopa is having both of his motors replaced.

If you were to look at the pictures in the post you would see they used a silicone spray, not wd-40 or whatever. Following directions is usually a good place to start when trying to fix something. I did it to mine and they work just fine =)

I ALREADY GOT A NEW MOTOR. Still the same thing is happening. Its getting slower everyday. I have "window races" with my friends and my CL always looses

But really, why was there no recall or something. IT is happening to everyone.

Where do i get this silicone spray and/or directions on how to fix the prob.

i got my regulator replaced and the thing works great. faster then ever. the motor was fine. acura fixed it cuz it was under warrenty. i thought it was the motor, but nope. i didnt even know there was a regulator part in there.

RuskiBusiness- LoL, I have window races too!! ...and I always thought I was the only one on this planet that had that much spare time!!

Anyways... my windows are slow as death too... but I also noticed that one thing that happens, is the glass actually comes out of the track sometimes, acura has fixed this twice already for me and my driver window did it again, but i do know what you are talking about with the windows being slow, when my windows are in their tracks they barely move. Plus, when I first test drove a CL back in december, I tried to roll down the driver window and the motor died right there on my test drive... lmao!!

About the window races... HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA... I have window races all the time! Usually between the passenger and myself in my car (I usually win, thank you), but occasionally between cars. They're fun when you're like, at a stop light waiting for a really long time.

Regarding power window problems!
I believe that there is a paper out to dealers. Both of our windows were given new motors, etc., at about 30000. No questions ask. I had complained about the slowness of the drivers side at about 12000 miles, and the dealer lubricated the channel and sent me on my way. At 30000 the drivers side went out and both were replaced.
Asked and yee shall receive.
We have had good relatlionship with the dealer.

 

Ask and ye shall receive only works when you are under warranty. Since I'm not, I doubt that I will receive anything.

 

I do believe that if you talk to the dealer, mention that a paper is out on this power window problem, and give him a chance to respond, you might just get them to help you out.
At least, ask!
As I originally said, we have a good relationship with our dealer.
