which way do i face the brembos?
Ok, so which way do the rotors face? Ive seen different pictures with them facing different ways. On the outside of the box this rotor is marked
Right

and this one Left
#2
but according to prodaudio in a post he did a while back...its reversed
so which way should the rivets go? which rotor should go on the drivers side? #1 or #2
Right

Now, if the vanes and the slots face the same way on your rotors, follow the first picture, as it's VERY IMPORTANT to the brakes cooling. The second pic is so that the slots do not trap material.
Now, as far as rotor seasoning and pad bedding, this is THE BEST guide I've found:

From what I understand this is the correct way. Centrifugal force allows gases, water, and dirt/dust to make it's way to the outside of the rotor. It doesn't get trapped between the brake pad and the rotor.
But yeah, to be sure I would call the rotor manufacturer.

what is marked on the box is correct i gotta install mine sometime this week my stock rotors are all screwed up they have grooves in them from the brake pads uneven wear... braking power after gettin 18"s is pretty poor make sure you use some brake cleaner on the rotors before you put your wheels back on so it takes off the protective coating.
anyone have a good way of getting those screws on the stock rotors off? mine are corroded into place... and its true that you dont need them right? since the lug nuts hold the rotors in place too?

Re-read my original post on this subject guys.
#1 thing is to make sure the INTERNAL vanes face the proper way, as shown in the first drawing in the first post. Like VXCL said, these look like blank Brembo rotors that a shop has drilled/slotted. They look backwards from the way Brembo factory drills or slots the rotors (again, Brembo does not offer factory replacement drilled AND slotted).
The reason you want the actual slots to look like they are going backwards is to keep material from building up in the slots (second drawing in the first post). However, it's not bad if you cannot face them that way - it's just helps material get whisked away.
Just make sure the internal vanes (the ones you see if the turn the rotor sideways and look in the middle of them) are facing as shown on the first drawing. I'm sure that will match how the manufacturer says aim them. Do remember it IS possible for the boxes to have gotten swapped.
