Wanna lower the whip

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting the car lowered and I decided on getting shocks and springs. Not too interested in coilovers so does anyone know where I can get a decent kit? Oh, also wondering how low I should drop it. I have the stock rims so theres plenty of room. I heard 1.5 is pretty standard for a drop. I justed posted pics on the photo section so you can take a peak if you want. Help is appreciated.

The n00b guide is a good place to start, for 1.5 I'd do tein S-Tech or neuspeed springs with some kyb agx shocks

Ok, talked to lots of people and decided to go with coilovers. Someone guide to a site to buy them at. Oh I'll buy off ebay if anyone can find a decent quality set.
