I have it and love it, I have had mine for almost 2 years and have had no issues with the clear, I have washed it and waxed it several times. It's not the sturdiest, but it's very sturdy for a CF hood, when I drilled the holes to mount my grill I actually cracked it, but it was my own fault, and it's not noticeable especially after I reinforced it. The stock hood latch seems pretty sturdy however like any CF hood, I will probably install hood pins just in case, but I've driven over 100 with it on and never noticed it move even the slightest. Over all though, the fitment is perfect and it looks sexy. Here's mine, and welcome to the forum.

if you buy a new one i would suggest running a clear coat. VIS is known for fading!

oh also i think goin without hoodpins would be ok, the very front of the hood would give it quite a bit of downforce to keep it down. and what was yall sayin about taking it off in the winter, i didn't know carbon fiber and fiberglass and what not had potential problems in the extreme seasons.

You damn right, people on here said it had me written all over them, and they were the first pair I know to exist, so of course I had to jump on them

And mugen, the hood def doesn't go anywhere, like I said I went 100 mph and the hood didn't budge. And the cf/fiberglass doesn't have problems with the weather, but after dropping $600 for a custom one of a kind hood, I wouldn't dare let salt/snow/road dirt/etc get on my hood or nice clear coat. Of course my car is a garage queen anyway, but still I'm def very protective of the hood, that's all

Ok, got it yesterday and its not the quality that I was expecting, also it doesn't even come close to lining up around the passenger headlight (at the grill). What, if any, problems did yall have and as far as lining up around the whole thing how was it? Did the rear rubber bumpers fit? The hole is too small for the oem ones. I'll upload some pics in a bit if needed.

That sucks, they def don't seem to be the same quality of the original GB. Only problems I had was getting the windshield washer pissers and the grill holes drilled.

Looks pretty straight to me, did you try adjusting it on the 4 bolts? It always takes me like a half hour of playin with it before it's straight. Gotta love CF on black

yeah i adjusted it all its really just that one part of the grill that doesnt line up. the grill was a pain in the ass to get mounted and i had to back off the top screws into the grill just to have some thread to run that nut on on the backside of the hood. could possibly be where her dad backed into her and maybe knocked somethin out but i doubt that cause it was on the driver side and we pulled it out. wasnt bad.
