Cons:
Won't make a difference from a stop race.
Bad for everyday driving...Very rough.
Have to turn car off before you turn it on.
Can't use it with nitrous (advances timing).

Pros:
Shifts like a mad man if you're racing.
Helps with rolling races.
Lower VTEC engagement point.

Install is easy...
When I had it, I could chirp like mad from a roll.

Make your own decisions as to whether it is worth it.

I agree with Got Rice. I've had mine installed for about a year now, and while the changes are minimal, the car just doesn't perform the same without it turned on. It shifts hard when engaged, and is a hella lot of fun in traffic. You might want to spend your $ elsewhere however unless you get a great deal on it (or if you've run out of other things to do). If I were you, I'd save a little more $ and get the generic headers. You'll notice a lot more gains--

I had mine for about a year. It was ok. I definitely noticed a difference when it was "on" versus "off".

However, it did not lower my ET at the track.

If you plan no other engine mods, then I'd say "get it". Having the Venom is better than nothing.

The clincher for me was when I installed N2O. You can't (safely) run the Venom and N2O at the same time. Sooooo, the Venom went bye-bye.

www.customrim.com has them for $269 w/ free shipping. I would tell the dude to lower his price. And yes there is just a swich to turn it on and off. Everyone I know that had it in the engine bay, except for one guy that had to extend the wires to get it into the car. Pay the extra $30 and get a apex-i v-afc off of ebay and get it tuned. You will be happier with the results.

The V-AFC is definetely the way to go if you don't mind getting it tuned on a dyno. I've got my venom under my dash so I can flick it on and off at stoplights (gotta kill the motor first tho, then restart).

Looks like they've really come down in price either that or my memory is fucked.

I maybe the dude you're talking about selling one for $200.00. If I'm the person who offered it to you for $200.00 forget that I'll let it go for $150.00
