I have been debating getting this for awhile. I've done searches but I get a lot of conflicting opinions (sometimes from the same person!!) so I decided a poll would be much more to the point

I've certainly contradicted myself! 
I wouldn't refer to it as a toy, but I am disappointed in the lack of 1/4 mile performance.
I keep it on all the time, and notice when it's off! It's good for everyday driving; but it didn't help my 1/4 mile ETs.
