Valve stems

Hey guys, im in the process of redoing my stock rims. I guess replace the valve time to time isn't a bad idea. And removing it so the rims can be painted more easily would be nice.

I have 2 questions, how can i remove the valve without cutting it.

and 2: Is there such a thing as an aftermarket valve stem? Something nice, and better quality than what they use the regular joe bloe's mechanics?

you have to take your tires off. then look on the inside of you rims for a rubber washer of sorts, holding the valve stem in. pop it out, replace. Valve stems are pretty generic. that shit if necessary.

The tires are allready off the rims.

On the net, iv seen different kinds of valve stems.

The regular rubber ones.

Some nice silver onces that are held with a nut in the back.

Which one would be better?

They make a valve stem removal tool that allows you to remove it with out cutting but are taking the tire off the rim? The have chrome valve stems that are more sturdy and nicer looking

sorry to contradict you but wouldn't it be easier to pop them IN being that the rubber seal is smaller BUT you need to be careful of scratching the rim

came with my rims but mine are blue.
No probably not worth the price and effort... And the valve caps only come with the valve stems. So if you get the caps robbed, like mine did....then yea.
