I was wondering if anyone has had the valves adjusted? How did you know that they needed to be adjusted, is it lick a ticking sound coming from the motor? I am going to get them done tommarrow, any help would be nice, thanks in advance.

yeah its ticking sound...tell me how it goes and cost and everything i was interested in getting mine adjusted too.

 

the technician at the acura dealership said that it would cost me right around 120.00

 

the i4s seem to need adj more often than the 3.0s mine gets real loud ticking about every 15-20000 miles. maybe cuz we got to rev high all the time to get anywhere

 

mine does that too.

 

So if the motor ios ticking, then I need to get the valvs adjusted? Does this effect performance? What does this affect if anything?
