I got my tranny cooler from www.bulkparts.com for $37.22 plus shipping. Click on "Transmission cooler index", then click on "HAYDEN Transaver Plus coolers
stacked plate ".
thats what dust orig. posted about the trans cooler....
try a search.

I'm looking at this one: http://www.tsscoolers.com/Merchant2/...e=tru-coolthin . It's $39 + $7 S&H, but it's a larger one than the one you pointed me to, so it'll keep it cooler during the summer heat.
Maybe your Air sensor fit because the car had an intake on it already before you got it, and they just took it out before they sold it to you.

tht should work, just remember that it has to fit somehow, thats the only reason i got the small one. look at the dimensions and look at your ride to make sure.

ahh.. good point. BUT, I just looked at the measurements, and the smaller one is 4" wide, 11" long, and 3/4" thick, adn the big one is exactly the same except it's 5.75" wide, so it would fit, it'll just cover up the... uhhhmmm... dammit the name slippe dmy mind for the moment. the cooling thing in the front withthe coolant in it, that the tranny cooler is mounted on.. yeah.. it'll cover that up more.

Good stuff. Good indeed.
Have you noticed any difference in handling/shifting with the tranny cooler, or is it just the same and it'll just save on the life of the tranny? on another note.. how much car stuff did you know before you did these installs? Ave you done anything like this before?

you cant tell a difference with the cooler, i have installed intakes before, but they were easier than this, i have done extensive vw work before, but i wouldn't really count that. i actually used a thread on here to install the cooler, i was super easy with that and the intake is strait forward. just have faith in yourself grasshopper, working on cars is not that hard
