Upgrading to Slotted rotors!

Upgrading to Slotted rotors!
Just ordered some new rotors & brake pads today (should be here by end of this week).
KVR Performance (known brand in Canada), had a 50% off sale for their Slotted rotors, which I decided to order since my brakes are due for replacement.
For the front and rear slotted rotors, I ordered them with cadmium silver plating.
I believe the price isn't too bad for the rotors @ $165 for pair of fronts & $147 for pair of rears).
If anyone wants to upgrade their rotors and/or pads, check out KVR.
I'll post actual pix once I recieved them.
Still sitting on fence regarding replacing the OEM brake lines to Stainless Steel Braided lines -- any advice?
Also what have others suggest...upgrading OEM calipers? Mine are gross looking now...

I know the conversion is there, but that's a lot of money for a set of rotors.
Def get the steel braided lines
And if you wanna upgrade the rotors, get Legend Type-II dual piston calipers

if youre going low budget, just paint your calipers or go with legend calipers. if youre going with a very large budget, go with willwood or brembo. i only know of one guy on her whos done a willwood big brake kit, but it sounds like youre a little past that since you already got rotors and pads

It was R1 concepts off of ebay. They are still on my car with no warping or anything and i put about 25-30k miles on them... I dont remember when I put them on other than knowing it was a while ago and I drive a lot....
I mean hell I got the car with 67k miles a year and a half ago. Right now i'm pushing 103500

so i guess the deal wasn't that hot then? i did it more on an impulse buy
so stainless steel brake line is the next part of the upgrade
one last thing, if i already ordered the rotors & pads (pretty much OEM replacement sizing) will picking up some legend calipers still be able to be matched up to the rotors & pads? sorry this is a very noob question...
thanx

Yeah... Little bit...
But I have to. I have 3 classes a day all spread apart so I drive home in between. Thats 10 miles one way. Then I drive to work which is another 5. Oh and the trips to Philly, VA, Atlantic City, NY, Harrisburg, Baltimore and the rest of them dont help...
But a car is only as old as you make it.

Noob guide says:Rotors are from 94-97 accord. Dual piston calipers can be fit into car. Parts needed are Calipers from a Legend. Rotors are from a prelude. For the Legend Calipers, Type II equipped including the GS sedan or LS coupe, 93-95. are the only kind with dual piston so you will need to locate these types. 2.2/2.3 needs the caliper brackets from 3.0CL, Legend, or 94-96 vtec prelude. Adding this will give you larger rotors and dual piston calipers for greater stopping power.
NOTE: the 97 front rotors are a hub-over-rotor design which means that you'll need to get them pressed on and off with a machine. Most places charge $200+ for this kind of job. Just FYI.
