Under 150k what can warranty cover?

Wassup guys

I've been reading some posts here and its seems Acura covers or cars till 150k. Is this right? Or is this only for those who bought extended warranty?

As far as i know, it's just recalls that are honored, anything else is extended warranty, I wish our cars had 150K mile warranty

4 Year/50K limited Vehicle Warranty and 5 year unlimited mile outer body comes standard. As BlackAck sez anything else is extended or on a recall.

^^I've been looking all over for one but no luck yet. I've got 120k on mine.

If you find one, you're gonna be spending at least $1000 a year. I've heard that some financial insitutions offer warranties.

A grand is a lot cheaper then 25 hundred for a new tranny. Cancel after a year

Thumbs up posible solution for tranny warranty

my 2001 none-s tranny just started having probs and at the time of service i had one hunred fifty thousand miles on my car and they covered me under warranty. the service manager told me they will cover me only because i have a past customer history with that dealership other than that i probobly would have been screwed.
he also said they have records of servicing trans warranties with cars over the 150,000 , but im guessing they where loyal acura customers to that dealership.

So dont lose hope if you are outside the warranty window, it is specific to each individual customer and stick with one service center, your history record of spending money with them is important.

if you are a repeat customer or have a history of spending money with that specific dealership. that will most definitely help them in determining to cover your expired warranty issues.

man those bastards didn't replace mines and i had 142000. FUkers

They were prolly hating on me because i got my acura from an accident that a mechanic from honda caused. I had an accord and the mechanic took it for a joy ride ( had it hooked up) he crashed it and total loss.

So when i go to acura of south florida i see the same manager from the honda place. Oh well i did get this car for free almost.
