U guys ever street race your 1st gen 2.2,2.3,3.0?
I was just wondering, cuz i just smoked a 5th gen accord that was all tricked out & ive also smoked a v6 avenger, Im still waiting to get my aem cai so i can hang w/ some of tha si's around here, i am just curious to see what we can & cant hang w/.

well it always come dwon to the drivers. for example i've beaten some ludes but i know it was not becuase my car is faster. plus the older accord u got to look for are the ex's cuz they have same engine. only thing is im told the auto ex's have less aggressive gearing then the cl, but they can be a stick and they shoudl beat u. allso u got 5 more hp and 6lbs more torque then my 2.2. but i know that from a light i can easily beat civics not the si, some older accords, and new celica gt. NOT GTS. but i find it easier to beat ppl on the highway. like if some1 is an ass and wont let u in and they keep accelerating. my car pulls wayyy harder at higher speeds. my girlfriend's celica definitely doesn't do that. it does pull harder in lower gears though. like 1st and 2nd. with my few mods. aem cai, full 2.5" hks, and my venom 400 all i can say is vtec defintiely makes a diff now. i do get a nice kick into the back of my seat when i floor it, but its no DOHC vtec!! thats fur sure.

I have had my car for about 3 months now and I haven't raced anyone. I dont really have any desire to. I know what I can and can't beat. Just remember that street racing is ILLEGAL so becareful and think smart.

yeah i dotn mean doing 80 in a 40. i usualyy just race them to like 10-15 mph over the speed limit as long as its not a busy road. other wise i just dont. ive seen too many pics of cars literally cut in 1/2!!!!!!!! i saw a cl in 1/2!!

The only time i got my ass whooped was when i raced a new celica GTS from a light. That six speed gets em up to 40 pretty fast, but if we had more stretch, i would've kicked his ass cause i know we got more power in the upper gears. Beat a maxima, lumina, probe, integra on the highway on my way down to ft. lauderdale (i had to entertain myself somehow during those 16 hours). But i really dont race anymore.

I usually do a 0-60 stoplight race, but it's only happened about 4 or 5 times. So far im 100% successfull. Granted I haven't raced any worthy cars, just punks thinking their Cavalier is the bomb (I've raced other cars too, but that's just a good example)!!

i have had my share of highway and street races... unfortunate to say I lost some and fortunate to say i won some... but not due to the car... just driving skill....
My worst loss.... a HOINDA DEL SOL... highway race... but when we pulled over.. he was juicing... we were back and forth with each other at 80... i took off on him at 100, then he flew by me at like 200...
best win.... 3000GT (non turbo) he thought he was the man with his car in Stamford Ct, my car was lowered and looked stock... but i was able to take his a$$ from under him...
