if your going for the extreme look such as a body kit, get the type R wing. if you wanna keep it gangsta stick with the oem spoiler

That's not even an option here. Stock or no spoiler at all.

ahh this convo had been talked about soo much. (search) Most people dont like the typeR....neither do i. But i also dont want the standard OEM, so im customizing my own....a spoiler i dont think anyone has used on a 1st gen before.

I know there is another spoiler option. Its got the shape of the typeR...its got a LED light strip, but hes not as large/tall as the typeR...Do a search and im sure you could find it.

> is greater than. I'm a fan of the type R because it looks really sporty the OEM is too modest, and doesn't really give it any sort of aggressive look at all. I like no spoiler the best because it loooks soo smooth and maintains the body lines.

theres a whole world of spoilers out there at your disposal

1) you could get them from dealership = $$$

2) you could get them from ebay = $$$

3) you could get them from a junkyard = *<

OEM is the best. I hate the Type R cause it looks ricey on the CL. As for the OEM, it ads a level of moddest agression that looks sexy and keeps the lines of the car. If you have a plain trunk, that looks nice too, but it is the most moddest. Go OEM or none at all. OEM>(greater than)NONE>(greater than)Type R.

IMO, oem spoiler is the best, then no spoiler. I'm not a fan of the Type R, but some people make it work. Nato's car looks hot with one, and a kid near me gcfelony has one too, here's his car. I think it looks aight. But i'm still not a fan at least for my car This dude's car looks clean though, I have more pics if anyone wants to see more angles.

The ultimate Sacrilege... A G35 coupe spoiler on our CL... I've been thinking about it for a long while, eying them up, etc... I wonder how hard it would be... someone should try it... And then take me some pictures for me... No one can deny, those G35's have a sexy ass...

1 vote - G35 spoiler.

That would look so stupid. The G35 is a lot bigger than the CL and that thing would be the only thing you can look at.

well i called them and went with stock oem spoiler. They said i had many choices but ultimately my car stays oem looking. I want that subtle aggresive look while maintaing class. For instance the color matched grill, the blacked out lights, the blacked out corners, debadged, Raked suspension, Dark tint basicaly a red and black onsomble. its a pic before she went into paint I know the paint looks good but it had little chips here and there and wasnt perfect

According to Automotive.com's specs, the Cl is a whopping TWO INCHES wider than the 2005 G35... What are you talking about BIG? Compared to a Type-R spoiler, a G35 spoiler is like it's little amish cousin: HELLA conservative.

If you're trying to slice clean through a flock of migrating Geese, get the Type R. If you care about the safety of our skies however... Try on something a little more modest...
