So it's been awhile don't kmow if you guys remember me ? So I went alchohol injected and a few more things but my question is pretty stupid but I don't know it. So here we go... I went twin turbo and I can't figure out how to trick my map sensor cus the second I get possitive pressure the car suchs off... Very shitty cus I have;nt ever heard the twins spool up... I'm dying to hear this!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully cocoa or someone can help
Thanks
Thanks
you have to either limit the signal sent from the sensor to the ecu electronically, you could use the comptech esm or some other method, or possibley the "missing link" that actually limits the boost seen by the map sensor.
3.0 or 2.x?

No pics t3t4 hybrids v6..... Ishowed everybody this car a long time ago cams milled heads bored nitrous stall converter alchohol injected slicks 12.9 113mph.. I need to trick it but how do ou limit the the boost that it is seeing? J30a1. How would pics of the setup help....

I have everything apart cus I went all stainless tubing and I'm fabbing it all up myself and I'm in the process of welding all the tubing and setting up a few things I had to cut my cross member and tube it so I could fit everything.. and I'm also moving a few things around when it was put together there where a couple of issues let alone the map sens.... I can give ya pics of the turbos and the tubin and shit like that and the hole where the battery used to be...... but its not that pretty so.... How bout some tangable advise and then pics...What do ya mean comptech esm... " missing link?
well no one knows how to help u because no one has done anything like this to a cl....and thats also why no one believes u, we have had a lot of people comin on here talkin about the shit they got, and it turns out they are lying...nothin personal we just wanna see before we believe
hey man chill, no need to get all upset. Im sorry no one here really has the answer, im guessing a lot of us dont have enough experience with forced induction to help you out to the extent that you need. You should probably head on over to the 2nd gen cl board and pm one of the guys thats supercharged/turbo'd (I think ThinJim is one of the guys?). Good luck getting it up and running, then post pics!
well everybody asked for pics all the time I don't have a camera and everything is apart. Sorry I got a little pissed but when I nedd help and this is all real a bunch of people asking for pics really does'nt help me out and then one guy goes I don't buy t like I'm lying to you guy's. Why would I ask a question like that if it was'nt true....... So I apologize for the shitty comment....
theres some real diks in the first gen cl forums.......why would he lie.....especially with a legit problem.....that hes is probably really experiencing.........get off the hatorade.......and dont post if ur not gunna help......Im done
sorry I didn't cehck the forums for the past couple days. here is the info on the esm and the missing link. don't listen to these fools asking for pics.
comptech esm: http://www.modacar.com/products/Hond...Electroni.html
missing link: http://www.synapseengineering.com/pr...ssinglink.html
the esm is what the accords use for the supercharger kit to hide the boost from the computer, and they have J30's also so that woudl probably work. It basically allows the map sensor to operate normally but allows you to limit how high of a signal it can send the ECU. Also known as a voltage clamp.
The missing link SAYS it works for the 00+ accords which also have a J30 in them, but they use a direct ignition system (coil on each plug) whereas teh 98-99 accords use a distributor ignition system with only a single coil like us 3.0CL's. Not sure if the map sensor is different between the two or not though.
also if you have a piggyback tuning computer it might be able to clamp the voltage as well. I know the e-manage has the option to clamp teh voltage.
good luck dude, and..... pics when you have a chance please.

Can't wait to see some pics of it all together, but at least legendary was able to help you. Sorry there are so many haters, but we do get a lot of fakers talkin shit on here so people are a little doubtful. Don't take it personally, like I said at least someone was able to help you. You just happened to ask about a problem that next to no one on here has exposure, so everyone just wants to see pics instead. Sad really, but at least you found your answer.
