tweeter is weird!!

my stock tweeters make this lil "EEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound when i have the radio on and it gets louder as i hit higher rpms.

wtf is dat? and it seems more noticable at night, mayb has something to do with head lights?

it doesn't really affect me but its kinda annoying =|

Engin noise getting into you'r system. Check for grounds. Did it start after you made a mod or has it always been there.

=| so the ground wires aren't doing too great? I need a bigger piece of metal to connect it too?

come to think of it, i made some slight mods to my custom foglight switch a week or to ago so a light would come on when they were on (so i wouldn't just LEAVe them on wen i leave the car)

and i think that's when the problem happened, cuz i spliced a ground i already had for the little light

-.- crap

I'm a n00b when it comes to engine and exterior mods but sound I can help you guys with.

I had a problem finding good ground so what I did was I pulled some of the ground wire out so that it's touching the screw when you do screw it on. Before you screw the groundwire in place, sand going in one direction about 1 inch around the interior paint and screw it back on. Make sure your minimizing any movement that could effect the ground wire.

I have my amp screwed on the back of my box, and even though the box is huge I could fit another one in the trunk. If you have this same setup you will need to immobilize your box.

*EDIT* I forgot to mention that you should be sanding the wire over the spade and over the paint/metal around the place you are grounding.

Me thinks you have found the problem. Make sure the splice for the ground is good.
