I was down at Superior Racing Developement today, in Tempe AZ, and they had a bone stock 98 CL down there....with turbo and big fat intercooler! Talk about a sleeper. They expect to have the installation completed soon.

 

That sounds cool! Did they mention the cost on the job?

 

Was it a 2.3 or 3.0?

I've seen one or two turbo charged 1 gen CLs in Miami. But they were all 4 cylinder cars. If they actually turbo charged a 3.0 CL I wonder what they did to the tranny to make it hold the extra HP?

 

would it be possible to just buy a new good tranny, one that can hold alot of hp? probably dont make them for the cl though, what about custom fitting one?

 

Theres not to many trannys that can fit a j30a so it would be interesting to see what they did.
