A true 4x4

Last week I drove my 97 cl over 1400 miles roundtrip for spring break. These are some pictures of the journey in progress. This 4x4 handled quite well on unplowed highways. And it was a blast to drive on the (dry) mountain passes. Well any way hope you dig them...

Damn, i would not drive anywhere cold for spring break, unless it was for some amazing snowboarding.

You are kidding.... right?

You know, the place where East and West bound mountain snow melt waters pick their directions of flow from the highest point on the continent to the river of their deliverence to the ocean, the Continental Divide.

Those pics are awesome. I love it. What was I saying about the test of a transmission, Rocky Mountains, what a drive. Yours survived the trip.

The snow is the point guys. Steamboat Springs gets the best kind of snow. They call it champaign powder. I think it's even trademarked! Snowboarding in that stuff is just like surfing, and it doesent hurt if you happen to fall. So far this winter they have had over 30 feet of snow. That town is one of the coolest places Ive ever been, its so laid back. Also, steamboat produces more Olympians than any other town in the world, so your skiing with the some of the best out there. Anyway, I went there because 2 years ago I lived there. It's like a second home to me.

By the way, the second to last pic is fish creek falls, the waterfall from the coors light can.

Yes, to ski is to be one step closer to the gods.

Speaking of Olympic spots, I used to live in West Valley, Utah. I learned to ski at the Famed Park City.

30 ft? Man, what a great base.
