Exclamation Trans Q

ok i can't tell but im wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

my frans is not slipping its just taking forever to get out of first gear and when it does it hits really hard im wondering if i should just fulsh the trans and change the fluid or do i really have something to worry about . .

better start savin up... actually u can try to change the linear solonoid. thats usually the beginning cause of tranny failure./well besides just getting too damn hot. if that fixes it then get a tranny cooler, it will save u alot of pain and money..

Same shit, different car

Mine was shifting slow by a fraction of a second, so I had the cooler installed. Then it started having problems going from 3rd to 4th. I would have to take my foot off the gas or it would just rev, and while decelerating, downshifts felt harder than normal. I took it to the dealer 3 times before they could "duplicate the problem." As soon as they did, they ordered me a new transmission, thank God for warranties. Not all bad though, the weather is finally getting nice and I'm borrowing a convertible for the duration.

im kinda having that problem too just regular driving my engine would rev up to 4,000 RPMs before shifting and then it shifts it gives me a lil yank..... my car has 128,000+ miles on it tho

im gettin the trans flushed tomorrow hopefully it helps for a little while until i can save for a new trans the car has 144000 highway miles on it so im not sure if the trans had problems with previous owners anyway thanks . . i need some f*ckin luck these days . . on top of this problem i have 2 bubbles in one tire bent a rim a screw in another tire burnt out 2 sets of headlights and the trans problem all in one weekend . . i love the car to death but this shit sucks. .

usually the trans flush will cause problems, but in your case u already have problems, so fawk it go wit it.

Trans is done start saving. I hear you about the tires, thanks to Jersey's wonderful roads I have bubbles in all 4 tires and 1 bent rim..
