Tranny problems or is it the mainshaft speed sensor..
Does anyone know the the main shaft speed sensor???
This what the code came when i hooked up my little diagnosic compter to my 97' acura cl 3.0.
what my car doin it would run from first to second gear and then slip into neutrual no trying to get in third or forth gear.
i asked some of the advisor guys from acura and they sed that i would have to replace the speed sensor and get a new transmission, but really do i have to get a new transmission. i may have put alot of miles (154,000m) into my car but i dont abuse it.
so my question is it the speed sensor or a tranny or both???
please help!!!

My mechanic really stressed me out today, I had timing belt and warter pump replaced with oxygen sensor easy fix for a mechanic come to find out my car wont even drive out of the driving lot it slips gears or wont shift something and it wasnt doing that prior to the other repairs...
