Tranny Coolers

I have been doing research into our car, like what all minor things can we do too free up a few horses, get some low end torque here or there. And in looking at the V6accords website I found something that may now give up the horses, but can save us a ton of money. transmission coolers. For a little over 35 bones you can keep your tranny cool, and reduce the overheating that leads to most blown transmissions. But for $40 it just sounds to good to be true. I checked some links they had to sites and it sounds good. But does anyone have one in there CL? is installation difficult?

i have a B&M one installed, had it for about 2 years now w/ no problems. It won't free up any horsepower but it'll help make your tranny last

OK guys, from where did you buy your transmission cooler, and are there any "specs" we should look for other than buying one that the seller says will fit our car, whether it is a 3.0 or 2.3?

Also, is there periodic maintance required on the tranny cooler?

During installation, will the battery be disconnected, thus requiring the knowledge of the damn radio code, which I for one do not yet have?
