Tps diy
I am new to the site and I have searched but could not find a DIY on changing a TPS sensor on a 1999 CL 3.0. I have bought a repair manual and of course it doesnt mention that you have to cut a slot in the head of the rivet to back them out so I dont have a lot of confidence in the repair manual. Any pics on how to do this? Also how do you hook up the volt meter to check that you have the right voltage? How do you adjust the voltage?
I had my trasmission rebuilt last year but it still seems to shift funny at low RPM (such as cruising through a parking lot)...down shifts hard when I ease off the throttle??? I took it back to the transmission guy and he says that he thinks its the TPS. 99 % of the time the shifting is smooth and I put over 2K miles a week on my car for travel so I dont think its the tranny....You guys are the experts so I thought I would ask. Thanks for any help
