Total Horse Power Added
Total Horse Power Added
I have a 97' 3.0 CL, it starts off with 200 hp.
If I added all these modifications to my car, Comptech Exhaust
Comptech Headers
AEM Cold Air Intake
AEM Pulleys
Apexi VTEC Controller , does anybody know what would be the total horsepower added after adding all these things, and can somebody tell me, how much each adds in seperatley?

Well, comptech doesnt make an exhaust for our models, so that one is out. The 200bhp that you speak of isn't really what you are getting...if you go to a dyno, I think the peak would be somewhere in the 150's?? I might be really off..but nothing that high. CLpower had his car dynoed recently and he has nos. While using the NOS, he peaked at 192 and he has the 99 3.0 CL.
Comptech headers will add around 20-34hp according to a dyno chart that was done for an Accord 98. That is basically as close as we can get..
AEM CAI add somewhere from 4-9hp
Pulley - from what I remember...12hp
Apexi VAFC - this depends..you would need to get your car dynoed and tuned with the vafc so that you car can take the full advantage of all your mods. So this one is a toss up..
Good luck!

While it's true that CompTech does not make headers specifically for our car, the Accord V6 (since you have the 3.0) headers will fit and work in our car. I believe CLPower has them. The add around 15 HP, so add that to the numbers that TW gave you and you should have a rough estimate. All of these numbers are at the flywheel of course......
