Tire recommendation

I am looking to replace my tires on the stock wheels. I am interested in getting a tire that's comfortable and quiet. I also like to go a little wider. I do have a set of snows mounted on seperate wheels so summer only tires would work also.

Here are my questions.

1. Any recommendation on a brand/Model for a blend of Comfort, quietness and performance (in that order with comfort being the most important)

2. What would be the best size. ( I do like the looks of a wider tire)
205/55/16
215/55/16
225/50/16 or
225/55/16 any risk of rubbing if I went this big?

Thanks.

Just to clarify..slammed meaning lowered or brake hard?
Also, did you notice any improvement in comfort due to the added sidewall?

I'm sure he meant slammed as in being lowered.
