Tire help...

I'm ordering some gunmetal 17" Tenzo R Passion 5s...but I know jack about tire size, etc...

He told me to get 215/45-17...

These should fit, right?

I'm just confused cause all the tire packages offer tires that are 205/40-17, but he said these would fit better...

So whats the story on tires for our cars?

I've got 215/45 R 17. Its on a 17X7 wheel. No fitment problem. Speedo is pretty much right on. Nice amount of tire w/ 45 series versus 40.

But not too much tire, right? :P

I mean, I don't want to look like a 4x4

No, definately not too much tire. I have 17's with 215/45/17 tires and I think they look really good for a 17" rim. Less tire then with factory wheels, and yet, not too low profile.
