what is the darkest i can make my tintz with it still being legal in florida?

 

i know in MD is 35% but what good is it for you ......... i dont know i guess its just FYI

34% is legal limit, a cop told me the way they test it is take your license and put it behind your window, and if they cant read it its illegal. where in florida are you?

 

My tint shop told me 35% in the front was legal and 20% in the back. Than someone on the TL board said 28% in the front was legal and 15% in the back. He posted a link that confirmed this so i would just go to like metacrawler and do a search for tint. You should find some numbers and some sites actually have a car where you can tint the windows different percentages to get an idea what it will look like

 

There's a thread on this board that has a link to a site which lists legal tint limits for all states. Do a search for it. If the tint shop you're getting it done at doesn't know the limit then I would probably try looking at another shop.
