Paid 165 after some talking down for my 15%. I have had it for over a year and no problems, I also have a lifetime warranty in case I do need to have it redone.

its different in different lighting. At night or when theres not direct sunlight they look pretty much the same. When the sun hits through the windshield, the fronts look noticeably lighter.

Thats how mine was when it was 30 in front and 25 all in the back. Now that I have 2 layers of 25 on the rear windshield the 25 and 30 are a little more noticeable as far as the difference of them goes.

Hey, what's up rice_pock3t_rock3t. I'm a professional window tinter and personally, I would go with 35% all around on your white car assuming that your interior is black. It's a clean, subtle shade but still provides enough privacy. Just keep in mind that darker interiors will make your tint look darker and lighter interiors will make your tint look lighter. For example, I recently tinted a Ferrari F430 with tan leather and the interior made the 35% tint look a lot lighter. But if you have any more questions regarding, feel free to ask me!

Most shops use black vinyl because it's the easiest way to tint the matrix, but make sure the installer is good or else the black vinyl will look like crap. Personally, I don't use black vinyl because I haven't had a problem with tinting over the matrix on most cars. But for cars that are problematic, I will use black vinyl. If the tinter is good, he or she will able to tint over the matrix without having to use black vinyl and still have it look amazing.

I heard you can sand the dot matrix down a little to get it to stick better. Any idea if that works? The dot matrix on the driver and passenger window are a bitchhhh.

I would not recommend sanding matrix down and I don't think it works. Besides, it's just bad practice. No tint shop should have to sand down a customer's car to apply the film.

35% all around on a white with tan interior. The law here in VA is 50% but with the tan interior i never get bothered.

Anything darker than 80% on the two front roll-up windows are illegal, but the back windows can be as dark as you want.

SEARCH. stop asking all these questions that have been dealt with before!

Please, bookmark this
https://acurazine.com/forums/search.php

90% of your questions are extremely generic and have been discussed many many times before. Want to know what the CA tint laws are? either google "CA tint laws" or search for "CA tint laws" on here, it takes 2 seconds. Want to know what good prices for tint are? search on here for tint prices. Im serious, how can you expect us to help you, if you wont even help yourself.

So next time you have a question. please do us all a favor and click on the search link and TRY SEARCHING first. I guarantee you 9 out of 10 of your questions have been addressed before. IF AND ONLY IF you dont find your answer from searching, then post it.

kleptos guide to searching!

Here, since Ive told you before to search and yet you still dont seem to get the concept, ive drawn up a quick guide to help you ( and other n00bs ) out as well

Step 1: Click on Search

Step 2: Type in what you want to search for, you can even have it search just the tread titles to narrow down your search even more! Be sure to choose which forum you want to search in! (usually 1st gen CL)

Step 3: OMGato a bunch of threads on just what I was asking! amazing! What is that? a thread that has 108 replies on the topic and ANOTHER with 94?! surely those threads will have some info that I need!

And the best part?

Holy shitballs on a stick, this only took a mere 6 seconds! Comcastic!

My friends shop hooked me up with 15% SolarGuard Tint FREE. But I think it varies on where you go. Usually it runs around $150-250 depending on how dark you want it.

Lol......15% All around and 35% front windshield ftw

When wiping your window do you see it go away a bit and then come bacK? or does it still stay there after the wipe? I would try using soapy water and see how that works for you. get a spray bottle and do 3 cups of water and half tablespoon of soap (NOT DAWN).
