I have 35% limo tint all the way around. it's been like a year... it looked really nice, but now it looks lighter. oh well. But beware... the top of your rear windsheild and around your windows are little dots, which the tint doesn't like to stick to very much.

i dontknow about u but here in jersey limo is 5% or if u understand the other way 95%. i have 5% all around. at certain angles sun will cut right through it so im going to get it tinted 5% on top of the 5% i already have. also those black dots are not a prob. go to a professional place and they will do it perfect. u should not have white around there at all. and dont cut out a hole for ur brake light if u dont have a wing. the light goes right through just fine. and ur tint shouldn't chnage color enough for u to notice. get good tint. make sure they give u a lifetime warrenty on the color. heres pics. cost me $130.

I used to tint windows so this is professional advice...

Titanium tint = High Performance film.. if LLUMAR brand offers lifetime warranty against fading for life of the car from manufacturer and whatever install warranty your installer offers... It has a slight mirror glaze so if thats what you want.. go for it....

limo tint = we called it grey film, is a non-high performance, although its available... It is known to fade within 3-4 years and only holds a 3 yr warranty from manufacturer on fading plus installer warranty of installation... but it matches black better!!! its your typical tint on most cars...

your choice.. make it on what yuou desire for what you pay!!!

im thinkin of retinting my windows...I got a medium tint on the back and light tint on the sides....you really cant notice i have a tint at all and you can see right thru the window....Does anyone know any websites where I can find info on all the diffrent types of tint? How about the imported tint from japan?? How does all this stuff affect my valentine1 radar? And any good shops around the New York area or around zipcode 10307?? I went to a stereo shop and they did a shitty job. It didnt blend in too well with the dots at the side of the window and when u roll the window down its like half a inch from the top and the back piece is cut in 3 pieces(i want 1 piece!)...I would like it to go all the way up.
thanks

If I had to do it over I would get the mirror tint, the jet black looks kinda ghetto.

well i have titanium tint and pick that over limo tint cuz it has an extra shine...it is also proven that it keeps out heat better than the regular tint film...i konw this also cuz my car is black and i have dark grey interior and my friends white celica with limo tint is hotter than mine under the sun...i think it looks nicer....plus the fact that if i get limo tint...i'd get lots of fixing tickets by those damn cops

what???? ifu tint ur car black limo, 5%, 95%, whatever u can at least roll ur windows down and ur car looks like every other car from the factory with the rear windows tinted out. u get titanium and then forget it. they know u got tint already and now will pull u over just to check ur front windows. titanium draws way more attention if u ask me. i've got 0 tickets for both my vehicles and thats 3 yrs so far. its easy not to stand out if u get black tint. when u say titanium in thinkin the black w/ silver fading into the bottom. cuz thats what they call it here. if not plz explain. maybe im wrong. but even so titanium is a silver color no??? that will reflect way more sun and attack for more attention. especially from cops.

I have 04% Tsv-4 tint or something like that. It's a high performance tint that is similar to the tempered glass on the lexus rx-300 only it's darker. But very very reflective. I love it when you try to look in all you see is your own reflection. I have a black cl and have tons of compliments on it.

Thanks you guys for all your opinions. It really helps alot. But I think that I might go with the titanium tint. Its going to match the rims I get later on too. Hey VTEC97, or you chiggacl68, do any of you have pics of your cars with the Titanium tint?

Mine is 20% high performance, don't rememeber what type. The guy gave me a few choices and i pick the best one. I think it looks great and even though it's not legal, I sometimes wish it was darker...

In either case, I've never had problems with it and never had one cop ask me about it.
