timing belt or chain? + cv joints

i have this noise coming from that area and i assume it could be the timing chain needs to be replaced. possibly it is stretched.

just wondering, possibly gonna take it to my mechanic.

also, are the cv joints hard to replace? i need to replace mine sometime soon.

we dont have chains, just belts. and dont tell your mechanic you think the noise is coming from the belt or you might get ass raped for something you might not need.
and the cv joints are easy if you have a puller.

puller? like a pulley puller? i might have one, my dad has a ton of tools, he doesnt speak much english, but if i describe something he will know.

my mechanic will not rape me for anything, he is our family mechanic and one of my brothers friends. he has never done anything like that to us.

u might actually be able to borrow the tool from autozone for free, but i think you have to buy the axle from them.
