Timing Belt
Timing Belt
I already did a search and I wasnt able to find a definite answer. Does anyone know when the timing belt needs to be changed on a 97 acura 2.2 cl. I am at about 60k miles.
on a 3.0 it is the same at the 2.3 or a 2.2, i havent changed mine yet but according to acura you are supposed to change teh timing belt around 90k but most dealers will say you dont need to change the belt to around 100k
Chinisimo: driving in bumper to bumper doesnt matter but if you drive hard on the car i would change it around or before 90k

I was finally able to drive aggressively on my trip to Ohio, I just got back a couple minuites ago and I was able to chirp in third gear. The first time ever. But the roads were extremely wet so I guess that helps.
BTW, I looked at a really nice 2000 black Civic Si with 36k on it. It is calling my name, but its been in a minor accident so I dont know about this one. Maybe I'll just go for a GSR
