Time to replace 3.0 Timing belt
I have a late build 99 cl with 63k miles on the clock. The dealer is suggesting that I change the timing belt. I'm aware of the downside of not doing this in a timely fashion, so I'd like some input from this forum as to when best to do this.

Your dealer is full of it, honda recommends you change the timing belt at 100K miles. I changed mine at 60, but u really don't need to, i'm just anal

I've noticed on a couple of Accords and two Acuras that the tensioner bearing grease dries out substantially w/i < 7-10 yrs. This is probably reason for the time interval limit, and good reason to change the tensioner with timing belt.
good luck
