The Time has come...
So guys the time has come. Come Saturday I will no longer be the owner of a cl sadface, but the owner of a 2000 s2k. This board has been a great resource for DIY info as well as what can be done with the cl and although I'll be sad to see the CL go I'm also very excited to get into one of my dream cars. I didn't really post much but thanks for all the help that you guys did give out the few times I posted noobish questions .

Damn, nice pick on the S2k, you know you're gonna have to give more details about it (not to mention pics). Good luck with it, and stick around, there's a few other members that have/have had S2ks.

ill take pics when I get it this coming weekend. They have to replace the windshield, its got 70k miles on it which is pretty much under for an 8 year old car. Silver with Red interior, and has all the manuals including 3 keys. Got it for 14,990. Pretty much a good deal if you ask me.

nice upgrade, you traded the CL in?

Finally paid mine off last month. I'll hang on to it for a while. Nice upgrade, my only problem with the s2k is the interior. I think the seats are too much like that of an amusement ride (kind of tight for a tall person), and the gauges are a bit unconventional.

The guy who traded it in at that dealership was a 60 year old man who needed something with back seats for his grandchildren, he was also the only owner. closing the hood in that thing is a bitch though. I checked on s2ki and they said you gotta drop from about chest height. I was so scared when I did it the first time, heh didnt want to hurt my new baby.
Easily the best handling car I have personally driven, only gripe is the doors dont open wide enough so getting out can be a pain at times, gearbox is super smooth with pretty much just wrist action to shift. top goes down in about 5 seconds, and up just as fast so its perfect for getting suddenly stuck in the rain with the top down. The car takes on an entirely new personality once you hit 6k rpm and get into vtec. The sound of that F20c at 8k+ rpm cant be matched(sorry mustang owners)

Well the time is near for me on my CL as well. Should be in something else in a couple of weeks. As we're on the topic, I went in the city today to look at an 04 TL, 48k miles for $17300, certified. Negotiated a good price, but the dealer will only give it to me if I finance through them, I already got my loan in place with my bank its just a matter of the dealer filling out the paper work and send it in to get their money within 24 hours. They refuse to sell me the car because I wouldn't finance through them. I've delt with my bank/insurance company for years and feel comfortable with them. The dealer wants to me finance through american honda financial services, which I dont really know too much about. I rather stick with the devil I know. The TL I saw is a sweet ride, very clean and rides well for a 3/4 yr old car.
